How to post your milk and other inclusions

Once you have placed your order, you will be given my address for posting your milk for creating your precious keepsakes.
I have had many ways that mamas have shipped their milk to me.. but I do have two favourite ways to recieve milk! 

number 1:

double bagged in breastmilk bags.
place no more than once ounce of room temp breastmilk in a breastmilk bag. Next, squeeze all the air out of the breastmilk bag and seal as normal. Fold and place this bag inside another breastmilk bag and seal and normal. Another tip: for extra security place this inside a zip lock bag in case of any leakage.

Once sealed, the most important thing is to write the name used on the order and the order number. This can be attached with a sticky note or directly written on the breastmilk bags with sharpie pen. 

Number 2: 

Another fab way to post your milk is in a sample container!
It was a great idea from a mama who had ordered milk and it kept the milk fresh and was air tight to avoid any leakage in transit.

Again, once sealed please write the name used on the order and the order number on the pot.

Please only send 15ml-30ml of breastmilk for your order. (0.5oz-1oz) At room temperature.

Frozen milk can be used but cannot be posted in its frozen form!  This will defrost in transit and cause major leakage and damage to your packaging. 

If more than 1oz of breastmilk is posted, there is a greater chance of leaking and worst case scenario, it bursting entirely and no milk making it to me for to create your keepsake. So please don’t oversend Your milk!

please note: do not send all of the last of your milk in the post for your keepsake! Please keep some behind in case of it being lost in transit. 

Hair: please send around 15-20 strands of hair around 3-5cm long at least in a baggy. It would be great if the hair sample could be tied together but not necessary.

Cord: send a small amount in a baggy/small ziplock bag. Again, please do not send it all.. only a small portion.

when posting hair or cord: PLEASE WRITE THE NAME USED ON THE ORDER AND THE ORDER NUMBER! This is to identify that it is your hair/cord/milk and to avoid delays!
